FRIDAY, MAR. 28th, 9:41 a.m. - Police were summoned to a social club. Apparently a male Hispanic had been stabbed with a bowie knife inside the club. Officers found the victim outside and summoned for EMS. Medical technicians transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Officers found a blood trail leading from where they found the victim and going into the club. A search resulted in the recovery of the bloodied weapon. Arrests are pending as the investigation continues.

Police yesterday identified a man who died after being stabbed in a Fordham apartment building Friday. Police were called to 444 Cyrus Place around 9:30 a.m. and found George Bonet, 32, in a stairwell, stabbed in the chest, cops said. Bonet was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital,

Cops yesterday arrested a suspect in the fatal March 28 stabbing of a man in an apartment building in the Tremont section. During the incident, Juan Monzon, 25, allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed George Bonet, 32, in the chest on a stairwell inside 444 Cyrus Place at 9:30 a.m., cops said. Bonet was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died. Police apprehended Monzon on Tuesday and charged him with murder and manslaughter.where he died. Police are searching for the killer.
